I'm surprised McNabb dignified the subject by talking about it.
I think the Eagles impressive run is over, and it has little or nothing to do with TO, but the media will hype it as such.
The sooner he and the Eagles put TO behind them the better.
It'll be awhile. You know the NFL is salivating over the hype the two Philly/Dallas games will generate.
Oh yes. It'll dominate ESPN the week of their first meeting.
What's the take on New England this year?
If they can avoid the injury bug they'll be back in the title hunt.
They're going to have the best backfield that I can remember. (that goes back to the seventies, unfortunately) They've even drafted a fullback, so the potential is there for one hell of a power running game. The defense is the question. One linebacker injury and they could struggle.
The word around here is that the Packers may make it to .500, but its kind of a wait and see attitude at this point.
The linebacker corps should be a real strength this year, and Al Harris, who was going to hold out during summer camp, has decided to return.
I think he saw the Woodson contract, and was shooting for a better contract. Apparently they are still trying to negotiate.
How's Tedy Bruschi looking for the season?
He's good to go. Monty Beisel will be starting next to him at inside linebacker, he'll probably be adequate, but the team needs those two healthy for the whole season IMO.
Good luck this year!
I see we play you guys at Lambeau in November.
Should be a fun game. I always enjoy watching Tom Brady play.
Do you get NFL Network? They cover all the stories in-depth. It's a great channel to have for the NFL enthusiast.
We've got DirecTV at home, so NFL Network is available there. However, I'm taking summer classes at college right now, so it's school-provided basic cable for me. ESPN and FSN are it.
NFL Network would be great if they turned it into more of a news service than just an NFL recap/replay channel with occasional news analysis.
Amen! Preach on Brother Terp.
I'm way more interested in the condition of Drew Brees' shoulder and how Gary Peyton is working in the Bush/McCallister running game than TO.
BTW: Saints first training camp practice is Friday. ;^)
Good luck. I hope you guys sign Reggie Bush soon. I'm still waiting to hear about the Dolphins signing Jason Allen...
The fact that Owens remained in the NFC East means this story will keep going and going and going.....
