... (I'm waiting for BSG in October and "The Dresden Files" in January)...So, did you see the season 3 trailer? Col. Tigh looks like an old mountain man or pirate about ready to kick some cylon ass. Apparently, the old man has a big part in season 3. They didn't use him very well in the second half of season two.

and personally, I like "Eureka" a bit better. I don't hold out much hope (I'm waiting for BSG in October and "The Dresden Files" in January), but I'll watch while it's around.
We watched Eureka this weekend....felt like shades of Men in Black, but ok. Better than most of the crap on network TV.
This is a show premiering tonight on BBC America,
Life on Mars, about a detective looking for a serial killer being thrown back 30 years to the 1970s. I don't know where it falls within the realm of Sci-Fi, but it's a reminder that the BBC has a habit of casting ordinary looking people while American stations go for the super-model/good-looking types.

Mountain man was exactly what I was thinking. Give him some buckskins and a musket and you've got an entirely brand new show.
