Can someone throw a bucket of water on Shepard Smith? His hair is on fire.

IMHO, Shep is either drunk or on drugs.

I would not be surprised to see Fox pulling him off the air any moment.

I am not a big Shep fan, but something is seriously wrong with him today.

I would much prefer two hours of John Gibson myself.

Shep is hoping for a Hindenburg moment - "Oh, the humanity! The humanity!"

We need Geraldo to co-anchor...hahahahahahahaaaa

And be sure to bring back the breathlessly-reporting Rita for her commentary. I'm sure that she's got plenty of sources to cover this.

I was going to say, your first mistake was watching Shep in the first place. He's as bad as Geraldo.

The hair isn't the only thing about Shep that's 'flaming.'

I've come to the sad conclusion that Fox sucks. Only Brit Hume Special Report is worth watching. It is excellent. All the rest is just horrible cable fodder.

I used to find O'Reilly tolerable. I no longer do. He is right a lot of the time, but his sanctamoniousness is just too much to take.

What's with the 'royal we' - ugh. Horrible. Bob Dole and Newt Gingrich both used that too. Hated it. Bush, thank god uses "I" in all the obvious places, and "we" when discussing "the administration" or "America".

We still need a good cable news network. CNN was better in it's heyday (Gulf War 1) in terms of actual around the clock news coverage.

Larry King is the template for everything horrible. Fox essentially reproduces his format with slight variations for six or seven shows in a row.

"Nattilie Holliway and Snoop Dog have been sighted at the Cannes film festival..", a breathless Bimbo or Bimbob reports.

Shep is an Ole Miss alumni, explains all.

Was he a cheerleader too?

Actually, if memory serves me it was during Katrina. I thought he was stupidly hysterical and I got trashed for saying it.

But I've heard the 'domino' theory since I was a kid.....and it always made sense.

Yeah, but a domino theory has to do with the toppling of governments from a communist ideology.

Here, we have the Israeli military walloping the bad guys. And SS acts like Israel's response is a BAD thing.

War is bad at anytime, but what is worse is being attacked by terrorists.

You could watch CNN for a while...at least til Anderson Cooper comes on.

You'd get the added benefit of not hearing that "Fox News Alert" every 10 minutes.

He is about as frantic as any woman I've ever seen.

Shep will calm down as soon as he has his daily dose of Skinner.......

I heard him say all that...didn't see him as I was in the other room, but I have to say I felt the same way. The word that came to mind was "hysterical". Yes it is serious and we need to watch closely, but he has already made it look as though we are in the middle of WWIII with our hands tied behind our backs.
