The opposition to this concept is grounded on one thing, despite the other illogical arguments that are being promoted.

The road would extend to the border. Or maybe I should say, "boarder."

As long as you don't want any more land taken from any citizen for any new road in the country ever again, you would be logically consistent.

Wrong. I don't want American's land taken for foreign interests. I realize that in your world sovereignty is a quaint notion but in the minds of most Americans it still means something.
