This being 9-11 and all

I am watching FNC's streaming 9/11 coverage. That day that all of our representatives stood on the Capitol steps seems very far away.

On my drive in to work this morning, I heard Bill Bennett try to encourage us to come up with a bumper sticker slogan for the day and all I could think of is "Have you forgotten?"

But in a more positive spirit, as our two "antagonists" in this film present, America means different things to different people. How about bumping me back to this thread, rather than my starting a new one, filling in the blanks on this statement.

I love America because__________________...

I'll start. I love America because we acknowlege that our freedoms come from a higher power than government, that freedom is not man given, but God given.
