I agree completely, if anyone should be made an example of it should be them.
It should be everyone who looted, police or otherwise. It should also be Nagin and Blanco who deprived the citizenry of their only effective protection, their firearms, during an emergency. There's lots of crooks in this whole pile that need to be smacked down.
But this is a good start.

Hmmmm ~ here we have polluted water, raw sewage pumping into it, and who knows how clean those cans are.
