Well, I was expecting a lot more fireworks last night. I can't predict this place any more :~)

So your critters were hung over for nothing?

Good Moring!

They are... hung over for nothing!

Although.... Even if there's a couple distant booms, drugs are never wasted on Homer.

Good Morning, sip, back from our walk, quiet in our neighborhood too, surprised us. Sorry that the critters need coffee and aspirin.

We're expecting an geometric increase in both actual and perceived noise levels today through Tuesday.

Well, we found ourselves a little short on doggie downers, so we've so far been drugging only Homer. Gidget barks, but I think she sortof enjoys the fireworks. She's not going to run off in a panic any way.

Homer antics remind us of how Samantha acted during thunderstorms; wasn't pretty at all, you both have our sympathy.

Gypsy doesn't care for fireworks or thunder but the desk works well as her safe place so that's a vast improvement. Gifford wanted to know who was shooting and why wasn't I , that much noise meant 'bird down' somewhere. :-)

Thanks.... He's a pain, with his eyes bugging out, clawing at us and whining... He's in a panic so it does no good to get mad at him, but you can't settle or reason with him either.

Drugs are better :~)

Heh....sounds like what Ramius' reaction would be if I asked him to go to Fred Meyer again.

Mornin'. ~sip~

Fireworks, Gandalf!

*Sigh*

I hate it when thecat hacks on newly-cleaned floors.

Heheh...

Just remind him, it could be worse - it could be *Wal-mart*. On a Sunday, no less, when the place is packed to the gills!

Run away, run away!

Oh! I've been welcomed at last by the new bugs sent to torment me.

Seems like the big ol' cockroaches in Florida sent a memo to the big ol' spiders in Washington.

One of those ~lovely~ critters was on the wall last night. The Great Hunter had to smash him with a sandal. I didn't believe it was real at first!

*shudder*

Haven't seen a WallyWorld here yet. Ramius says we're too urban for one, but we do have a Tarzhay. ;-)

I imagine they'll get steadily worse over the next few days...but yeah, it was awfully quiet last night.

Cisco gets more agitated because of other dogs in the area barking than because of other noises. There's a little dog I've never seen across the street - sounds like a dachshund. When that one gets going, it gets Cisco riled up some of the time...whining and pacing. Most of the time he's fine.

What was it... A daddy-long-legs? The great hunter, in this case, is just as freaked by spiders as you are :~D I'm surprised you didn't have to send the girls to kill it :~D

Well, if he's not too mad about the fireworks, that's a major good feature in his personality! Good! The neighbors across the street usually do quite a bit on the 4th.
