A Molly/Fleur vixen slap-fest would be a riot. Sadly, they made friends at the end of HBP. :(

I expect HBC will do a great job with Bellatrix. And Bellatrix better watch out as Harry, Neville, and Tonks all want revenge!!!

I think it may be both. I can't see one letting the other fall without going too.

If one falls, the other goes nuts and kills everyone else. Twins have that strange bond. Magic twins must really have a weird bond.

And Rowling seems to do everything for a purpose. Something's up with Ginny, the first girl in generations and I think something will be up with the twins. (Granted, they aren't the only twins in the series.)

The deaths of two main characters...call me silly, but couldn't one of those characters be Voldemort?

I've had it in my mind for a while that one of the main characters--a Weasley, or even Hermione or Lupin, will somehow get killed at Bill and Fleur's wedding. Just a feeling I have, that the book is going to start out with a real bang. I don't know, though...I'm also pretty convinced that Snape is going to die saving Harry. Geez, we only have to wait another stinkin' year to find out!!!

Neville will have his moment to shine.

I think so, too. Over the weekend we watched GoF (okay, I'm not some HP nerd who watches HP whenever I have a spare 2 1/2 hrs., we hadn't watched it since we bought it-- I swear!) and in the books and the movies Neville is just the sweetest kid. Like Harry he's seen so much tragedy in his family and sort of been abused (Gran is a raging B!tch on wheels and is trying to force Neville to be his dads mini-me).

Bellatrix nearly had him at the ministry. I don't think he will let it happen again.

I am still wondering if Remus has a "Romulus" for his twin.

Sadly, they made friends at the end of HBP.

True. :-( But, we haven't met Fleur's family yet! :-) Didn't Fleur say her grandmother was a Veela? That would make Fleur's mom 1/2 Veela. It might be enough to send Molly over the edge. Can you tell that I am really looking forward to the wedding? LOL!!

And Bellatrix better watch out as Harry, Neville, and Tonks all want revenge!!!

Oh yeah. I hope Neville takes her down.

Hey, stop injecting common sense! ;-)

Geez, we only have to wait another stinkin' year to find out!!!

I know! The rumored release date is 7/7/07, almost exactly a year.

I hadn't thought about Fleur's family!! Little sister Gabrielle could be interesting too. She loves Harry for "saving" her from the lake. Ginny might have to give her a bat-bogey hex at the wedding!! LOL

Dumbledore goes over, in painstaking detail, why Harry is the chosen one.

If I remember correctly, he doesn't say Harry is the chosen one, he said Voldemort *believes* Harry is the chosen one. Do I misremember?

That prophecy is very vague, and can apply to Neville, as Dumbledore pointed out.

I'm just guessing, of course, but that would be a brilliant twist on the whole series. I'm guessing Neville kills Voldemort in the final book.

I must admit, I wouldn't mind seeing Percy on the wrong side of Avada Kedavra...

I think that Neville will torture Bella LeStrange as revenge for his parents' torture. I also think that Wormtail will die, the liar!

Percy is such a wildcard to me. On one hand, I hope he sees the error of his ways and comes back to the fold. On the other hand, I hope his brothers beat the crap out of him. I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls a Lucius Malfoy and claims to have been under the imperius curse and not acting of his own free will.

pg.842, OoTP

"You are forgetting the next part of the prophecy, the final identifying feature of the boy who could vanquish Voldemort....Voldemort himself would 'mark him as his equal.' And so he did,Harry. He chose you,not Neville. He gave you the scar that has proved both blessing and curse."

No, I have a real strong feeling that Snape's offing of Dumbledore was not as it seemed.

Snape may turn out to have been a good guy all along.

I had the same conclusion after reading the last book. Several other Potterheads have said taht, too.

It's going to be interesting.

Voldemort himself would 'mark him as his equal.'

But again, that could mean anything.

It doesn't necessarily refer to the scar. I know that Dumbledore believes it does, but I don't think it rules out a Lord-of-the-Rings type twist ending at all.

Just my guess, anyway!

Hi Josh!

I was just thinking about Wormtail actually. Remember how Harry spared his life in the Shreiking Shack? Lupin and Sirius wanted to kill him right there. I think that's got to come back up some where in book 7. We didn't see much of him in the last two books at all. Just that little bit where Snape was using him as a butler. I have to think we will see more of him in the next book.

Oh, me, too -- esp. after her stint as Morgan la Fey in that "Merlin" miniseries. She makes a great evil character.

I guess anything's possible!! I think the scar, and all that it brings(parsletongue, the mind connection between Voldy and Harry)would indicate that Harry is the unlucky one. Oh, and their wands each having a feather from the same phoenix, too!

OMG! I need to get a life!! LOL

I didn't see that, but she's a great actress. She sort of reminds me of Johnny Depp how she can morph into any character.
