I've given up on reading the rants of the OBL crowd. If they get off on writing long screaming rants, I guess it's up to them but they're just wasting their time.
Once again, it's the usual suspects. The party-above-principle Big Tent GOP drones who, very often, are also soft on illegal alien issues. They are the pretend-conservatives.

I think some of these guys have been defending Bush from the rabid liberals for so long, that they now have some internalized reflex to defend Bush on everything, as if he is right on EVERY issue. The realities of Dubai Port issue and obviously the border issue is glaring back at them.
However, when the bell rings, the dog will salivate if it conditioned to do so. If a genuine conservative suggests Bush is wrong, soem people just cant escape their habits. Its really sad to see that happen to a good lot of conservatives. I hope they recover soon, but it will take patience on our part.
I have neither the patience nor inclination to wait for them to catch up. Most of them are happy deluding themselves they are real conservatives.

No, they're not. Saying they are doesn't make them one.
