I live here in North Texas and no, a new highway is not a good thing. Traffic is already congested enough from Austin to Dallas on I-35 (one of the planned routes) and they have been working on it, in various places, for the past 35 years and it's still not done. This would be a horrific mess!!

Before you start passing out the tin-foil hats for everyone and laughing the whole thing off as one big joke, please think a little bit about the practical side of things. Just because you don't believe that a "North American Union" is going to happen, does not mean that the elements of this idea are not poorly thought out. This super highway will disrupt many, many lives, in one way or another, and I don't know that the benefits will outweigh the problems. There are real people who will be negatively impacted by this super highway!
