show should have been should.
Really! There's got to an explanation in there somewhere.
I don't think Chalmers is on-leave. How do they get him to comment on current cases (or why, he would have no knowledge)?
I think Chalmers is handling some things and Baker is handling others. It's unusal that Baker admits to all the conversations he's had with the detectives, etc on this case, and that he's in the "know". I think he'll regret that is on public record, because they'll come a time when he tries to distance himself from this investigation/persecution.
John in Carolina and I, among others, have been on her case for some time now as regards the one-sided coverage of the N&O. The more the merrier.

thanks. I don't think they want to go up against me
Mike Nifong - lol
Woody Vann on Greta nails it - the criticism of Nifong is NOT going to reasonate in Durham.
Durham looks at this case MUCH differently than the rest of the world. Nifong is not under fire in Durham.
Could he be called as a witness by the defense?
Good Point! Of course he can, in my opinion.
First he mentions all of his knowledge and many conversations regarding the evidence in the case.
To me, it's like calling a detective to the stand. That's very interesting - Call Baker. I like it!
Let Mr. Baker tell us - did someone lie to him, or did he lie. If so, why?
I agree, and the crucial question is why? I contend it's a matter of political engineering.
Strong, intelligent and independent blacks just ignore the "acting white" and "Uncle Tom" claptrap and go on about the business of doing their best.
The rest are ignorant, lazy, plantation pikers looking for something for nothing, as their culture has taught them to do from the cradle.
I've no doubts Kim thinks this anyway -- she lives her life seeing "racism" everywhere, no matter the issue. She's been raised that way. And which is why there is no reaching through to someone that hung-up. It's best to avoid people with these types of "social issues".
Professor Coleman expounds on the faulty IDs in a letter to the N&O editor:
http://www.newsobserver.com/580/story/449892.html
"When this case blow up in his face I hope Nifong spend as much time trying to hang this lying young woman as he did persecuting the boys."
Well, you know what they say. Hell hath no fury like a Nifong wronged!
I don't know if I agree that Kim sees everything through the prism of race. I think the threat of crying racism is just one of several manipulative techniques that she employs to get her way and things she wants, as is the case with many blacks. I'm sure there are many blacks who really think they're discriminated against because of skin color, but I don't think Kim is one of them.
If "race" weren't played like some big powerball game; Kim's character would be more obviously laid bare -- a manipulative, spoiled-rotten, bad egg.
And yes I do agree with you about Kim -- any playable ruse will do.

Motions from Evan's lawyers.
I see that CGM also claimed that Kim pushed her out of the car onto the street.
itc8k6, thanks for those articles.
