Yes! Old Zim knocked down by lil Pedro. That was a nice brawl.
Kermit Washington?
My bad. I know a guy by that name so I mixed it up.
I'll never forget the beating Cam Neely gave to Claude Lemieux. Neely had told the television guys that he was going to do it and they laughed (mostly because Neely referred to Lemieux as a "gutless puke". As soon as the puck was dropped, so was Lemieux. Neely was actually bouncing Claude's head on the ice. They played the rest of the game with Lemeiux's blood still on the boards. It was a real "Slapshot" moment.
Don't forget Ike and Tina Turner.
Or Alec and Kim Baldwin...
Or how about Ann Coulter with anyone on the Today show?
Or how about Lloyd Benson on Dan Quayle?
Or Reagan on Carter or Mondale or Bush on Dukakis in the national elections?
But since this is sports beatdown those go somewhere else.
"YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!"
Jim Rome and "Chrissy" Everett.
Here's a video of it. Top ten baseball fights by ESPN. Ryans beatdown of Ventura is number one.
Enjoy

Much obliged. Thanks!
I followed your link and watched that video again. A classic moment. Rome has not been the same since.
Terry O'Reilly (Boston Bruins), and Dave (The Hammer) Schultz (Philadelphia Flyers). Classic stuff.
And how about Terry O'Reilly v. MSG Ranger fans.
Terry really knew how to throw a right cross (and how to bleed).
I once saw Ralph Cox of the University of New Hampshire throw one punch and knock out a Boston College defenseman, break his nose and cover the ice with blood. It was the shortest hockey fight of all time.
Rome is bitch and deserved to get slapped.
Earl Weaver dished out a few good ones on the umpires in his day. Billy Martin was a classic as well.
