Look at the other awful choices. A person who wants to go to the movies right now has slim pickin's. Thank God for DVD's. "Lawrence of Arabia" is always wonderful!

No sympathy for Aniston. Brad wanted to have kids and settle down and she wanted to continue to use him as an accessory.
Most overrated female, IMO.

Took the kids to see "Over the Hedge" yesterday. Lots of sexually-suggested jokes and vulgar language. These computer-generated kids' movies might as well be rated R.

X3 was pretty good. It MIGHT be the best SEQUEL I've ever seen. Most sequels, especially the last movie in the series, generally suck.
If you don't worry about trying to tie it into the comic books, which would have been nearly impossible at this point.....

She's not even pretty Right, she's not. Vaughn is just her rebound IMO.

I'm glad you mentioned that. Some reviews have been pretty positive, but I don't like sexuality in children's movies.

I expect she'll move on soon.
Maybe she can act; I haven't seen her in anything, as we have rather fundamentalist standards. But anyone who sees a magazine in a grocery store can say she's just not very pretty.

My daughter watched one of the X-men movies with her friends last weekend. They'll probably want to see #3 when it's available on video.
The comic book stuff has just never really worked for me. "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" (?) had some charm, but it wasn't "The Great Escape" or anything really good.

nah The League didn't do the Comic Book justice as neither did the first Spiderman movie, but the 2nd one was ok. I am looking forward to the 3rd one in that series as well.
the LOTR series was phenominal but those were a bit different than the XMen series.

I was disappointed, overall, in LOTR, although some of the characters were well done, and the backgrounds outstanding. I'm a Grump about the text, when I've read a book!

When are Green Lantern or Firestorm going to make their movie debut? These comic book characters kicked ass.
They're making a second "Fantastic Four." Ugh
To: Daralundy
You know the economy can't be too bad when a Jennifer Aniston flick pulls in $40,000,000. I mean, this type of movie grossing $40M? It's unheard of!!!!

It was just an act.
They were keeping up appearances until the movie premiered.
To: Tax-chick
I never expect the movies to include everything from the book.
If they did, they'd never complete the movie or the movie would be so long that you couldn't watch it in one sitting.

yeah I don't understand why they would make a 2nd Fantasic Four. Although if they do, more Jessica Alba and less of the Rubbery guy would be fine with me :)
I think the HobGoblin is going to be in the next one, except that they've changed the storyline a bit so that the son of Osborn will be the HobGoblin instead of the Green Goblin...yes I know too much but I had a guy in Iraq explain it all to me.
