Just in case you're still wondering, my comment was directed to RC2000. I pinged you because you made a comment about NY NY and I was posting that song. It's called courtesy.

Right.
Though I usually respond to most all pings I receive--even courtesy pings.

What about coconuts?

No wonder I don't like kids, lol. I'm just a few years older, but man.. what can I say.

At least the Indians went to the World Series twice(95 and 97) although I missed both times. I doubt that they'll make it again in either of our lifetimes.

And we're the perennial laughingstock of Major League Baseball.
IIRC, we haven't made the playoffs since the 1980's.

I would be happy to share a dance with you to one of his tunes, including NYNY!!
But wherever I hear of that song, it reminds me of that scene from "Gremlins 2". If you have seen it, you will remember what I mean!!

Yep, and switching leagues didn't help much, either. Even the 2002 All-Star game in Milwaukee ended in a tie.
To: Rca2000
Well, what song do you like?
To: HitmanLV
I love Sinatra a lot and own many of his recordings. I like mid 1950s-early 1960s Sinatra the best. NY NY makes my ears bleed. Just an awful song and a terrible tune. Just a matter of personal taste, that's all.
I kind of like the song myself, but I remember at that time, 1981, Mom did make a comment that she thought Sinatra was starting to lose some of his singing ability. Maybe that's why some people don't like the song, I dunno.
Speaking of which, for some reason, I'm curious about "Ghetto Blasters" aka "Boom Boxes," I have a Radio Shack SCR-3 model from 1979, I ought to pull it out and plug it in, tape some Mike Savage. B-)
Good page on Ghetto Blasters:
Pocket Calculator's Vintage Boombox and Ghetto Blaster Museum They even have Soviet made Ghetto Blasters mentioned as well, got to check those out.

And we dumped our 1D10T owner--who became the Commissioner of Baseball.
After he schmoozes up to state lawmakers and Tommy--sticking SE WI taxpayers with a sales tax for building his white elephant baseball temple--which still is mucked in building issues.

No,no ... That song is fine. Any of the "chaimran's" songs are good for dancing(well, most anyway)
It is just that in G2, a TALKING, SINGING gremlin leads a bunch of them to that song, as they are about to take over NY. It is SOOOO funny!!

Wow--those things still exist?
As for Savage--he's got a good show, if a bit unbridled 8^)
