>RALEIGH, N.C. -- A high school student caught having sex with his girlfriend at her house has sued the Wake County Board of Education, saying that the school system has no authority over students' off-campus behavior and should not have suspended him.
Sounds about right.
I've never heard of a biggar lawsuit.
Biggar than what ?
Har har har
The way things are nowadays with kids and school and teaching all about "safe sex", the main question should be whether these kids were having "safe sex".
And if they were having "safe sex" then school authorities should be happy about that.
If he had been caught having gay sex, he'd now be a hero to the school district.
Can you imagine asking your mom to file a lawsuit for you in this situation?
Can you imagine a mom that would?
The pair left campus and went to the girl's house where they were discovered by her mother who returned home unexpectedly, according to the suit. The mother then called her husband, who came home and called police. Police drove Biggar back to school and handed him over to school officials, who suspended him for 10 days.

From what I read, they were on school work release, of sorts, and therefore it seems to me they would be under the same rules and regulations that apply to all employees and Teachers assistants. I have no problem with the suspension or the reason for it if this is what actually happened.
I must be getting old, I would have loved to get an afternoon delight when I was that age.
I don't know if times have changed but, in my day, you were under the school's jurisdiction from the time you left for school until you returned home.
Given the responses on threads like this, I'd say there are plenty of DADS here on Free Republic who would gladly join in such a lawsuit. The trashy mindset of endless adolescence is alive and well among self-described conservatives.
Afternoon? It was probably all day!
And the entropy of our culture continues its inexorable decline...
You should have read the full article. It seems it was during the lunch hour and the boy and parents had signed a form stating he'd follow school rules if he left campus during that time. Sounds more like the school is in the right.
Bigamy? I thought it was Biggar her!
I stand corrected.
I would have hit the ball into the woods on
as many holes as possible WOW what an eye full
Who is she anyhow???
OK, to whom have you been talking, to know that kind of information??
LOL
