Do you think the Steelers had a good draft, or is it too early to tell?

I like their first two picks, and Omar Jacobs is interesting. As for the rest of it, all I can say is I hope they know what they're doing, because I sure can't figure it out...

I remember many unproductive years of Steeler drafts. Cliff Stout, Gabe Rivera, Greg Hawthorne, etc.

The last three or four years seem to have been very good. Reminds me of when they got Bradshaw, Joe Green, Lynn Swann, Franco, Rocky and many others.

I hope this draft is as productive for them as the past few years have been.

As much as I'd hate to say it, Duece McAllister to the Squeelers makes perfect sense to me.

Duece looked pretty good at the end of the year for the few plays he was in.

He's had plenty of time to give his knee some rest and I hope he doesn't reinjure it early in the year. If he does I think his career is over.

I think he will be ok...

But it should be obvious that he's going to be on his way out of NO very soon.

If I were him (and I'm not) I'd be screaming for a trade to Pittsburgh.

I think we are going to see a lot of trading activity in the next few weeks.

Teams don't stay together like they used to. I used to know the names of all the starters on the first four Pittsburgh Super Bowl teams.

Now I'm lucky if I can remember half of them as they change so often.

How did your guys do in the draft? Cincy or Cleveland? Or both?

Cleveland did ok.

It wasn't a blockbuster draft for them, but it didn't have to be.

The division is getting tougher all the time.

It is always one of the best ones in the NFL. Anyone can beat anyone in any game. All the teams hate each other and play their hardest against each other. LOL! Makes for some great games.

yeah....

although I can't see the Ravens improving much this year unless Jamal Lewis figures out that he has to run hard to get anywhere.

If they trade Ray Lewis, their defense will decline a bit.

I saw Ray on ESPN yesterday and he was overjoyed that they got a huge defensive lineman to take some of the heat off of him.

I don't think he is going anywhere. He is the soul of the Ravens "D" and they know it.

Unless, of course, someone makes them such a ridulous offer that they can't refuse it.

yeah but this was the same guy who was making noises about wanting to be traded too just a week ago.

But they won't get equal value for him.

He was hurt a lot of last year and they were sure not the same team without him.

no they aren't.....

He's a big cog in their defensive system. But he isn't the same player he was even 2 years ago. They are paying him too much money and they can't possibly get as good (even if he's declined) player in a trade now.

If they trade Ray Lewis, their defense will decline a bit.

Ray Lewis is a has been. And only that because he barely was.

Ray-Ray is the single most overrated player in the NFL since Joe Namath. Why has he been in decline? He hasn't had 2 big fat guys (Siragusa and Adams) in front of him to keep the blockers away. The few years he was dominant he never had to worry about a blocker. Now he can't get free to make a play.

Joe Namath was famous for what? A big mouth and panty hose. Ray Lewis is known for what? A big mouth and a bigfoot skin coat.

Ray was at his best when he had Sam Adams and The Goose in front of him. I was hoping they would bring Adams back and draft Ngata. I got half of what I wanted.

Baltimore will again have a great defense. The difference will be on Offense, if McNair comes to Baltimore and plays. Heap, Clayton, and Mason are legitimate weapons. They could be back in the playoffs and possibly the Superbowl if he does.

My mind is spinning from all the possibilities of what might happen with trades and how the draft picks will work out.

Arrington is already gone from Washington. Brees has signed with NO. Randle El is with Washington. Culpepper is with Miami. People are moving around.

I think it is going to be one of the most interesting seasons in years.

Let me guess, you're a Squeelers fan?

It will be interesting. I stated Baltimore could make the Superbowl with McNair but I haven't taken in all the moves that have happened, so it could be anyones years.

It's been so long since Baltimore had a QB of McNair's caliber, if ever, that I am getting a little excited.
