The increasingly obvious idea that no assault occurred seems beyond the realm of possibility in Nifongland.
I read earlier that 3 team members were in NYC (not at the party) being interviewed, and the companies turned them down for the jobs. Yet, apparently, that doesn't meant squat to this DA....tested 'em anyway.

When I first read that article, it took me a few minutes to realize that that the NCCU newspaper has discovered something that will help the defense and they're not going to publish it, because she's a "sister."
But my next thought was, isn't that exactly what they accuse "whitey" of doing, closing ranks?

3 of them were supposedly out of town for job interviews, NYC, I think.
They, too, were asked to give DNA.
There were others there earlier in the day, but most had left. The next door neighbor only accounted for seeing 5 of them.
So I'm not sure how many were actually there; I imagine they have pictures of them -- which is probably why the photos were cropped.
Those tidbits will likely never be allowed to see the light of day in court if this goes to trial. No decent attorney would allow it without strenuous objection.
If the black team member was excluded because he's black (unaccused), why in heaven's name were the 3 team members who were in NYC not excluded too? Ha...I know the answer to my own question....gloryman Nifong.
Yeah - what was the Durham PD thinking? So much for "the chain of custody of evidence":

in this case, of course, the evidence being Mangum.
Also, keep in mind that Mangum was examined and DNA collected at Duke Hospital which, BTW, didn't know that Duke lax players were the purported rapists. One would hope that it didn't pass through too many hands before reaching the SBI crime lab which actually did the tests.
Also, as I continue to post, note that the Durham PD collected materials from the alleged crime scene. Mangum describes a 30 minute ordeal where she is desperately struggling on the floor with the three lax players. Yet her DNA was not found in the bathroom. So both Durham PD and Duke Hospital would have had to be "in" on this conspiracy.
The next accusation will be that because Mangum once tried to run down a police officer, the Durham PD tampered with the evidence.
How about her blood alcohol level at the time she arrived at the hospital?..Was she drug screened? Is that admissable..If photos prove she passed out on the lawn, does she really "remember" anything? I don't know if any of it is admissable..just curious.
I think the Durham PD has some serious 'splainin " to do--Although I must be missing something (wouldn't be the first time! LOL)
After listening to all of that forum...I'm not sure Nifong did himself any favors..they weren't too happy with him.
Do any of the boys have scratches on them from being clawed? If not sorry. Besides if she were drunk she could have been in that bathroom and fell and broke her fingernails.
Exactly why I said that they want SOME held accountable and if he doesn't "feed them," they will turn on him in a heart beat.
