You know, if you are going to make a new religion because all other religions have "kooky" traditions based on that person's reasoning, why in the heck would you make a new religion that contained many more kooky traditions?

I mean, please tell me how not having motherly contact is beneficial. Is there some basis for this retarded belief or did L. Ron Hubbard just pull a bunch of "beliefs" out of a hat to see how many suckers he could get as some kind of sick experiment?

actually, Blogger, this is not only child abuse, but child neglect, and child endangerment.

The Dept of Family and Children Services ought to be all over this case.

I totally agree! I think her plan is to not speak to her child for an entire week, but I doubt likely she will follow that. And leaving the baby wrapped up un touched and alone for a day or so is child abuse and neglect! I know most baby's aren't hungry right away after they are born, but if she plans to nurse she needs to do it right after the baby is born because that is what the child is born to do and what they know instinctly to do. Denying them 24 hrs without nursing or a bottle is neglect! Honestly, once this baby starts crying you can't tell me Katie isn't going to take care of it. If she doesn't she is just as sick as Tom. BUt I see in the end they will not last after she wakes up from this sick cult!

In a nutsell, yes. It was more about the money. He discovered that there were millions upon millions of dollars to be made in "religion". I suppose he felt like quite the puppet-master. Ick.

No, women are unclean for 7.2 drayons after giving birth and are not allowed on the furniture at all until that time has passed. This is the same reason that women arent allowed to travel on Nakgrubian Startransports...

Considering where L Ron is now, I think he'd probably vote for a "do over."

Her parents should kidnap her and take her to a real doctor.

Tom Cruise has never witnessed the birth of his own child. I just wonder if maybe he'll change his tune when he experiences that. Doubt it though.

The evil side of me would LOVE to somehow secrete a speaker and some flashing lights into the "Silent Birth Room", and just as Katie is delivering, hit the lights and blare out:

I, Xenu, am here to claim this one as my own !!!

How horribly sad. How can birth seem traumatic for the baby if his mom is birthing in silence, btw? (maybe they're doing hypnotic birth. I don't know) Second, when I had my last baby (at home) he was like a social butterfly. He enjoyed meeting his family and being held. Still does (as he tries to push keys on my keyboard).

Honestly, once this baby starts crying you can't tell me Katie isn't going to take care of it. If she doesn't she is just as sick as Tom.

I imagine they would isolate the baby from the mother, so that she would not hear the cries. As a mother knows, when a baby cries, milk is "let down" and often leaking occurs. Even if they gave her pills to dry up, it doesn't happen that quickly. I suppose in a mansion, it wouldn't be that hard to keep Katie from hearing her baby. That poor baby can get dehydrated without feedings! Are they just gonna let her lay in her soggy diapers?

I could just cry. The immediate hours after birth are so important for bonding. And mommy's voice is so very soothing. What the heck are these nutballs thinking?? Nicole Kidman has to be so happy that she is having her baby with someone else!

Was reading Parade Magazine with a Tom Cruise interview. The repoter said he said down-to-earth and genuine during the interview. Then Katie came in and he did his usual weird gushing act. It was noted that Katie seemed spacey, not really there, and was constantly smiling.

This girl (and I emphasize GIRL!) is such a dolt! Anything to please her man (if you consider Tommy a man), even if it means no loving contact with her child. That's disgusting to me.
This girl is gonna have a lot of regret in her lifetime if she doesn't wake up.

I should have been so lucky with my Mom!

(I am so going to pay for that in the afterlife!)
