Boy do I ever remember that. Remember her words were "could you find it in your heart to wait until Scott is exhonerated before we lay Laci and Conner to rest"? From one mother to another she says. Sharon had her lawyer answer her and at the same time asked her to not contact her again.!! I mean, the nerve!! It's astounding really.

Hi friend!! A thread like this brings back memories huh? And yes it seems that a good deal of the United States is being hit with horrendous weather. We are dry here. Completely dry. My lilac bush that I planted last summer is budding already.

Also we have friends that go to Hawaii for 3 months every year. They wanted us to join them for a couple of weeks in March this year. Boy am I glad we are too busy at work to get away. Hawaii, and particularly Honolulu is floating!! They have had nothing but torrential rain for weeks!! The weather is nuts.

No, I haven't read it, which I'm sorry about. I am too poor to buy it and have no way to get a copy; am homebound.

Used to have an angel who would send me Laci books, but we have lost touch. It'll come around to me somehow, some way, I'm sure of it. I do want to hear what she had to say in it.

Definitely God's hand in Laci's "recovery." Palm Sunday, Connor (my spelling - I always use the "o" not the "e" because Scott said it was "e" and that's a word meaning a "person who cons," so I don't like it) - Monday of Holy Week, Laci - Scott's arrest, Good Friday.

Symbolic for the hope of resurrection after the sacrilege perpetrated on innocents on Christmas Eve, on the babe who wouldn't know Life on Earth.

My plan included suffering myself to begin to atone for all of this evilness. That's not heartless, that's loving and repentant. Two adjectives that will never be rightly attached to the Peterson family.

Why would you assume guilt for something you didn't do? There are a lot of people who have good raising that turn out bad anyway. The whole notion of atoning for someone else's crimes is foolish and impossible. In fact, it took God Himself to accomplish that feat.

This culture of guilt and self-hate that you have so amply demonstrated is more and more prevalent in our society. Nothing good can possibly come of it.

I never did see reviews of Sharon's book, I think life away from the computer got too interesting. lol

My inherent maleness would preclude this situation from occurring.

Punishing one's self for the actions of another is not healthy. While I may not be the paragon of human mental health, I have learned that the only person responsible for a crime is the one who did it. Scott Peterson killed his wife. For this, he will die. I don't really see that anything else from anyone is required.
