How many of you are you going to apply for a vegetable picker or janitorial job tomorrow?

I worked in a California prune orchard one summer. It provided a very good motivation to go ahead and get that college degree. Amazing how well physical labor provides incentive to obtain a higher education, isn't it?
If more High School kids could but get a taste. Then they would appreciate the guy who mows the lawn, too.

Should you tell a farmer or owner of a janitorial company how to run his/her company? You would be flat out amazed at how much government meddling is present in agriculture already. In fact, they even have a cabinet level department. (USDA)

I worked on a farm every summer from the time I got out of diapers (family farm and everybody who doesn't pee his pants has a job in the busy season.) If somebody would pay me enough, I might return to that kind of work in my retirement. It is hard physical work, the kind that makes you sleep like a dead thing once you get over all your pains and fall asleep, but it is honest, healthy work that keeps you in good shape. So true. So did I until college.

Also can you show me where these migrant workers are picking crops at the crack of a whip or held as property of the farmer?Good point. If they owned them they'd have to take care of them. This way, they're disposable.

What We Are About To Do Here Is What The Good Lord Would Call A Cleansing of the Wicked. I Call It A Good Old Fashioned Texas Ass Kicking. Well, this may not stack up to that BUT if you are in Texas...
There are plenty of Border Watch operations and opinion rallies for the entire month of April. The biggest single location Border Watch is east of El Paso. Come for a weekend, a week or the month. Check out the Texas Minutemen website for info.

By your replies on this thread.
Okay, let's go step by step. You asked me why an individual, Dana Rohrbacher, wouldn't quit his job to pick fruit. I suggested that it might be because he has a college education.
You therefore infer that I must beleive a college education is a requirement for congress critters. If you don't see that as a massive jump to conclusions, we are on opposite sides of an extremely large chasm.
