Click on the Conn Post link, and there's an article about the cat. On the right sidebar, there's a link to Other Articles, one that says something like "Nation Obsessed with Tale of Cat". This article has a picture of the perp.

In other news from that paper, a little old lady that doesn't know the value of her possessions:
1994 HONDA CIVIC For Sale By Owner = 129,000 miles, well loved and cared for but not driven in 2 years. Needs work. $1,800 call 203-222-1318
Apparently this person doesn't know the value of the car. There some gear head that will buy this bargain, throw an Integra engine/tranny for an extra $1,500-2,000, rework the plumbing and beef up the suspension and make this out of it

all joking aside, such an animal needs to be contained or killed.
that cat's owner needs to be penalized for all physical injuries the cat has inflicted.

seriously: I have killed animals which have attacked me on public property. It is the only sensible option. As much as I love pets, they must never be allowed to behave so poorly.
