Personally...I think TLBSHOW and A+Bert merged into some sort of wierd central personality.

Not as weird as Quidam.

Well, I might be IATZ but I just know you and your puny sword will be checking back on this thread for the next few days to see what sort of comments get made, so here's my observation:

Did you see my post to you on the first page on this thread? In it , I posted an older FR thread on these remarks by JR. In his reply on that thread in post 10, he states that his remarks were a sarcastic response to a WSJ article which described drug use by a president as 'no big deal'. So since the whole issue has been gone over before on FR on a 30+ thread, your suggestion of doing research seems to be one you should have taken yourself.

It may have been the "McCain, you traitorous bastard" that clued me. We professionals are trained to pick up subtle clues like that.

Perhaps you can help, then. I’ve been stumped by this for years.

Why call names? I may not be as smart as you but you know this isn't a major financial institutional website. It doesn't even compare to that type of enterprise. You know that. I didn't say capitalism is a bad thing did I? I just asked a question. This is still America isn't it? Back off.

Nah, it's "mrexcitement".

He's already at the Sheep Post crying.

People need to learn to take a long break when FR is not to their liking. It changes.

Kinda makes his initial remark about doing research rather ironic, does it not?

As I understand it, these are voluntary contributions. No one is forced to donate, unlike taxes which are ripped away from us at the point of a gun. JR can spend these contributions however he likes, including giving himself a salary(I don't know if he does or not, but there are other mods on here who may get paid), or do you think he should just run a site for free, just so you can have a place to complain? I give and don't really care where it is spent as long as FR is kept up and running. JMO.
