I don't think it's limited to his songs. At least I hope not.
Well, I can tell you this. If Pickles win a TALENT show on her abilitity to be a minx, I won't be watching AI again.
I thought he was getting out the week of the finals. Late May.
Ewww....let's home she's just trying to throw us off course.
Isn't honesty a virtue anymore! /sarcasm
I doubt they will be limited to his songs, but I do think they will be limited. Why have someone like him coach them to scream some rock song? Wouldn't make sense.

Father tries for new start
After he was released in July 1998, he decided to leave Albemarle.
"In a small town, your reputation is easily ruined," Pickler said. "It's hard to gain trust back from everyone. He needed to go somewhere nobody knew him. Unfortunately, he got tied up with the wrong people again.
"It just shows you can't run from your problems. They follow you everywhere."
In January 2003, her father stabbed a man in New Port Richey, Fla., on the Gulf Coast. He ran from police. When they blocked his path, he tried to use his car to ram an officer's cruiser.
He is now serving a three-year sentence at Florida State Prison in Starke. Pickler hasn't seen him since he went in. They exchange letters often.
Their bonds are strong
Some people would find it strange, she admitted, but she's still crazy about her dad.
"I've always been a daddy's girl, despite all the obstacles we've had to overcome. We're really close. I know a lot of people wouldn't understand. He's happy for me and he's pulling for me from where he's at."
Clyde Pickler's current release date is May 22. Another coincidence. That's the same week the "American Idol" finals are scheduled in Los Angeles.
"If I make it to the finale, he should be able to come," Pickler said. "Which would be really great."
No, I don't think they should come into play. But then I don't think they should come into play in the Olympics either, but NBC has made it a high art -- or low camp, depending on your point of view.
Do they adversely affect those that don't have one, but are just average joes trying to get a break? Or do you think hearing them over and over could actually work against them?
I think it depends on the contestant. I think this is what counts most, and in this order. The winner doesn't have to have all these qualities, but most of them. You say well, what about Ruben? He had six of these things going for him. What about Fantasia? Also six.
Looks (especially for women)
Body (especially for women)
Charisma/personality
Good performance skills
Being different/Ability to stand out from the crowd
Few, if any, negative judges' comments
Interesting backstory
Vocal talent
Once again I have to emphasize I'm a cynic.
It has become much more of a farce than it was the first couple of seasons. I've been really struggling to stay engaged with it this year. If it weren't for this thread, I don't think I'd watch much, if at all.
I think he knew that it was probably the group with Ace in it. But, notice that he didn't go ever and shake Ace's hand. I don't think he wsanted to signle out Ace or put Ace in on the spot. He went over and shook Chris' hand and I think he did that on purpose. It looked to me like he had a smile going and it was like a joke between him and Chris, knowing that Chris is his closest competitor in that group. I think he was jokingly pulling Chris' chain so to speak, like 'See ya Chris, too bad', even though he was joking about it. I thought I saw Chris smile and kind of laugh over it, too.
I know exactly how you feel. And I think many of the regulars on this thread probably feel the same way.
I sure hope that's what Terri was doing. But Pickle wasn't even in the bottom three last night. That alone has me flummoxed.
I agree with you. I can't say about Reuben, but with Fantasia, she had a couple of good songs and Summertime was her best, but all the others after a while you realize that all she is doing is creaming and screeching. I started out liking her, but by the end I felt that Diana was the better vocalist and performer and that she was robbed.
Thanks, Netizen.
I think the main problem with Diana that year was her youth and inexperience. She was only 16. Over the long haul, though, she is on track to have a far better and more lasting career than Fantasia. So is Jennifer Hudson, who got booted early in the top 10 that year.
Big difference, of course, is that the sob stories have no bearing on the outcome of events that are primarily completely objective (save figure skating). The sob stories on AI are designed to get people to vote which affects outcome.
Once again I have to emphasize I'm a cynic.
Someone once said that a cunic is a disappointed idealist. I know that is definately my case...
BUT, dial idol showed her down a few spots, and THAT is good. If she has another train wreck, she just might be out. Part of me hopes that this is what last week and next week are about. But, it would be nice to know if they have to choose from a list.
Anyone know when they make their song selection for the next week? Is it late Wednesday, Thursday? Get a day off and select on Friday?
Chris was certainly a plausible bottom 3 base on the DI figures but.....
Never heard that before. I like it, and think it does apply to me.
