I find it hard to believe that his best recording would be from 1976. I know that Muddy's and Howlin Wolf's efforts from the 1970s with all star rock back up bands SUCKED compared to their earlier efforts.

But the topic is "Rock & Rollers" not "Pop Artists"... so I don't see how much of the list is even eligible for consideration; and any list based on influence without Frank Zappa on it is not well considered...
