Will Windows media play on a Mac?
Becky
My problem why I land up stuttering around, is I have trouble thinking of a polite way to tell them I'm next. It seems so simple when I'm not in a situation, but when it happens is all I can think is Shut the f___up, it's my turn, but I know I can't say that, so I stand there like an idiot stuttering :) A few times I have lost it, and I'm always sorry afterwards not for saying something but for the way I said it. Mack worries about me every time I go to town:). He's always worried he's going to have to bail me out of jail.:)
Every time it happens I think I should have said , Hang on she was helping me.LOL. Oh well.
Becky
Ah - you're on the Mac? I think the answer is yes, there is a version that will work, but I'm not savvy enough to know what.
Heh... try this...
Load it to your snapfish account - same way you do pictures... you'll get a month free trial... that will convert it to quicktime and you can probably play it from there.
There's three options there - choose the right version for your Mac...
Well, I've got it loading to my hosting site. I've switched back to ImageStation by Sony. We got a free account when we bought a camera. I'll see what happens.
Becky
I'll have Mack look at that. I'm always afraid to try new things. If the image station doesn't work.
Becky
Ah - cool.... so they've got video hosting too?
Hopefully something or another will work :~)
LOL, I don't know:), It's loading, now if I'll be able to get it to play is another thing.
Becky
It was a new experience. I remembered seeing a picture of Hair walking hers and though hmm,I can do that and make only one trip to the pasture.... (I did too) Anyway, in all fairness they have a brain and they have to do some thinking:') He's been taught to follow. I changed things up and gave him some slack and I guess he thought he was supposed to do what I wanted him to do the last time which was good. It just was interesting to me that she kept calm like nothing bothering her, while I reined him up and over.. I was just a little concerned that she might kick his brains out. I should have just dropped the rope I guess so he would have backed off but that wasn't part of the plan. He knows now where to go when I have both their ropes and stays put. He's no dummy.
Are you talkin' about this picture?
It can be a little risky to crowd them like that... in my case there the pony was pretty vulnerable.
In trying to lead more than one it's better if the horses will lead from either side and you hold both short and at arm's length on each side.
I never thought he was a dummy. It sounds like he did exactly what you taught him to, so then it was a good thing. And it was a good thing SL didn't kick:)
Becky
No, it was one with yall facing the camera. I was p/o about that. I moved him over and tightened them both up and had them perfect on each side of me and no one was around to take a picture.
Was the pony on a lead there?
Becky
Yeah - they all are. - I'm browsin' through my pictures leading horses lookin' for the one Cindy's talking about :~D
Well he did a little extra thinking on his own that day:') What I had taught him was to walk behind her at a safe distance. I couldn't turn him loose that day though. He still will eventually start to crowd her though and I have to make him back off.
I'm so glad to hear that:)
The girl that bought Rusty from me, when I first met her, worked for a lady who trained polo horses. Debbie exercised them for her. She had so many that Debbie ponyed them in groups off of another horse. I saw her ponying 4 horses one time. Dam, I have trouble ponying one:).
I don't particularly like leading two at a time, makes ME feel vulnerable. I've done it with horses that I'm pretty confident with, but I still don't like it.
I don't think this thing is going to load, it's still trying and slowing everything down. I think I'll cancel and see if any of it loaded.
Becky
I did it with 3 the other day with no ropes. me...Sarah Lee, May, and Peppermint Patty. Everyone wanted out of the pasture. Some days I feel like the Pied Piper in the Nag pasture. Kind of cool though.
No kidding! I can't imagine four... just from a line management standpoint.
