According to TMZ.com, which first reported the incident, Stapp demanded a blood-alcohol test at the station, where he registered a 0.18--twice the legal limit. What?!!! California has a law determining the limit to walk on a plane?

Was trying to track down the name of a particular Creed/Scott Stepp song on the internet, and all references I could find to them/him were that he's essentially a laughingstock.
And here I kinda liked their/his music!
but what do *I* know.

He's got a good voice,
but he's not the brightest crayon in the box ;)

the rocker "antagonistic" and "boisterous." Kinda lame in the rock & roll bad boy pantheon.
He could have at least choked on some vomit or defecated on the rug.

Am painfully clueless when it comes to Pop Culture. < |:(~

I don't know what a "Creed" is, but I too, believe I'd be described as "boisterous" and possibly "antagonistic" if I'd just married a dish like that.

Well,
I kinda figured that it was the case when on a VH1 special it came out that he blew all the band's savings on some wackaloon pyramid scheme. I swear, I've seen bird dogs who've lost the scent who've looked less confused.

Stapp's a good guy with a rough upbringing who has been trying to straighten his life out.
God help him.

Stapp's a good guy with a rough upbringing who has been trying to straighten his life out. Huh? Stapp's dad was a dentist. Also a born again Christian. Scott did not want to live under his parent's rules so HE left home on his own terms. Rough my ass.

I'm sure his retort was:
"I only want to RIDE in the plane. I don't want to drive the damn thing!"

I guess they couldn't take him higher. He's lucky he didn't end up in his own prison.

"Stapp's dad was a dentist. Also a born again Christian. Scott did not want to live under his parent's rules so HE left home on his own terms. Rough my ass."Just because one's old man was a "dentist" doesn't mean things were great. I wouldn't pretend to judge what he endured growing up.
Anyone gets my respect when they've fallen into a moral and spiritual abyss, then pick themselves up as he has under the circumstances of "rock-star temptation."
To: najida
I know Scott was being sued by "Creed" fans a couple years back.
I believe he didn't get through one song before he passed out on stage and the fans demanded a refund.
Not sure how that brouhaha turned out though.
/not a "Creed" fan
