I'll bet ya that there's alot of older people out there who regularly watch the Oscar's to see Hollywood stars but, probably dont have a clue as to what the nominated movies are about. They may even watch the show to determine which movies to go see or, rent. But, once they become offended at Jon Stewart's opening monlogue and, then see Fudgepack Mountain getting all these awards, they will tune out in droves.
Just my opinion of course.
Uh-huh. Does anybody think that Heath Ledger & the word "Oscar" would ever appear in the same sentence if it weren't for the subject matter of this movie?

Proulx's book "The Shipping News" was a wonderful book. The movie was crap, though.
Then she, Proulx, that is, moved out west and her short stories became very, very strange and outre(appropriate word for Hollyweird).
But I can tell you for certain, I will not be watching the awards ceremony this year. My God, that my self-indulgence is difficult to abide.

Are they still called best actor and best actress ? And how do you tell the difference ? Shouldn't there only be one category for men and women since you no longer can tell the difference.

Whoreyweird has been captured by the homosexuals. They are (STEREOTYPE ALERT!), as we all know, very "creative" people. One would have to be "creative" to devise their favorite forms of sexual activities. Who else could conceive of shoving his...never mind!
No surprise here that "Brokebutt Mountain" is the "odds on" favorite to "suck up" numerous awards at the Oscars given that even the straights out there live in fear that the homos high up in the community will blacklist them for ANY expression that they hold to what the REST of America considers "traditional values."
Best way to deal with this -- this CRAP is to boycott it and all the rest like it to emerge from the cultural and moral black hole that Whoreyweird has become.
They may not grasp the depth of their depravity out there -- but they can STILL count.
One of my favorite all-time movies. I love when Ford goes in to put down the drunk horse and gets kicked out of the barn. I watch it at least 2-3 times a year I have it on tape.

Does BM rank in the top 20 for box office revenues over the past six months? My guess is that it will end up as the least-watched movie ever to win several major Oscars. This is PC run amok.

I have never watched the Oscars. Now never will.
Hollypornwood has just pushed the envelope way beyond anything they have done before and are doing all they can to make homosexuality "normal." It's so disgusting, I may never see another Hwood movie and certainly not this one!
