He should have prayed for Denis Savard to go away.

It's invidious. Few can tell us Canadians from you Americans. We're sneaky that way. It's how we managed to take over your entertainment industry. All those professional phonies (i.e. actors) you see inflicting their precious stupid political beliefs on everyone? A lot of those professional phonies are Canadian. Explains a lot, doesn't it? :^)

The Montreal Canadiens goalie Jose Theodore is a holey goalie, i.e., he really sucks.

EXCUU-U-USE ME! I was a goalie in college.

Actually, non-goalies in the NHL do say that goalies tend to be odd, to put it mildly.

seriously, goalies have to be whacked to deal with that pressure, imo! xsboy played goal precisely ONE game, when he was still pretty small and it was roller hockey. i HATED it. i wouldn't deal well with the pressure of being a goalie's MOM!@

It does. If you ask me very prettily, I'll use mine on you some time.

But I loved it partly because you're always in the game. (The only part I didn't like was when the puck hit me in the neck or the gonads). Also, I had a great glove hand from having played 4 years of Little League baseball years before.

baseball players make great goalies! xsboy's former goalie, from his Mite team, played a lot of baseball in the summers. he was a fantastic goalie.

They have to have super fast reflexes or they get knocked out. I love watching them warm up. They look like they're battling ghosties in T5's house.

it is fun watching pro goalies sure. and even the bantam goalies at xsboy's level, SO LONG AS IT IS NOT MY KID. while i am nowhere near as insane as xshub about it, i do feel some personal responsibility for my kids performance, no matter how misplaced that is.

I take zero credit or blame for my kids' performance in anything. Although I know I am legally responsible... ;)
