I'm curious. Why would you feel so ashamed if you went into an adult store and why do you think others would feel shamed? Like I've stated before, I don't want them in my neighborhood, but publishing photos and exploiting people who go there seems a bit over the top. Perhaps you should join Baldwin and then you both could split the legal costs of those suits you will receive.
Personally I consider it much, much worse. Alcoholics destroy themselves and their families utterly. They are a menace on the roads and account for vastly disproportionate amount of crime and absenteeism. None of that happens when a guy buys a dirty magazine or a woman buys a vibrator.
"....isn't that a hint they believe it's wrong?"
What exactly do you think is wrong? If someone buys a vibrator in an adult store, what has he/she done wrong? Is it morally wrong to buy a vibrator, red condoms, sexy lingerie? This is not porn, is it? I might have a different point of view if we're talking about porn. But you and Baldwin are willing to catch people in your moral net without responsibility. But you will be sued. Better have deep pockets.
Go ahead and defend sexual deviance. Not a pretty thing to do.
LOL!!! YOU'RE the one that kept saying it. Not me!
but publishing photos and exploiting people who go there seems a bit over the top
As opposed to ogling pics of complete strangers that are denigrating to them?
Why not?
"Go ahead and defend sexual deviance. Not a pretty thing to do."
I haven't read anything in Fudd's post where he defends sexual deviance. With all due respect, reading a men's magazine or owning a vibrator does not rise to the level of sexual deviance.
Do you think it's OK to publish photos of patrons of an adult store with the implication they are immoral or of bad character?
I don't want them in my neighborhood because it is a business that should be away from children. There are many families with children where I live. IMO it also diminishes the property value of surrounding areas. As long as it is a legal business and operated legally, I have no problem with them.
And you didn't answer the question. Why wouldn't you want a porn shop in your neighborhood.
"that should be away from children"
Should? Who says so?
And pornographers only destroy strangers? Other people kids?
None of that happens when a guy buys a dirty magazine or a woman buys a vibrator.
Degradation of someone ELSE is accetable?
As I said before you need to get a grip. Morals DO matter. Studying the Bill Clinton method of morality? Better put some ice on that.
I think they should. You don't like my answer? What should the answer be, in your opinion?
You are not equpped to lecture others on morality. There is ample evidence of that from reading your posts.
Really? Based on what? At least I HAVE a moral barometer.
That's a problem when people feel Christians have to look a certain way. My best friend has her nose pierced and there are some ladies with tatoos in my church And my pastor has dreadlocks. I am terribly cute, but we all love Jesus.
Why should they if they are doing nothing wrong?
You won't hear me defending sexual deviance. If you get off on anything that harms yourself or others, depicts that harm, or involves nonconsentual activity you're a sicko. I've got no problem with sentencing molesters, child pornographers and rapists to life in prison, castration or death. It's what they deserve.
Thank you. But I'd leave out death and castration. They are now doing "civil confinements" of dangerous predators after they serve their sentences.
I don't consider sex to be degrading.
