I suppose everything on my resume isn't local, so he's gotta know I'm new in town.
Fifteen minutes? Mmmm...I like the sound of that.
I need to locate and hang my interview clothes ASAP!
Add to that the fact that I was driving through hill country...lotsa curves and twists, even on the interstate.
I did a lot of prayin', let me tell you!
I was gonna mention that I have a lot of interview clothes you can have, too. I probably have something that will fit you from back when I had to dress to go to work :~D
Can't blame ya one bit, chica. I'd be doing the same in that spot.
I prayed during every takeoff and landing on my last trip and those weren't nearly as scary as what you're describing.
Glad you found safe harbor for the night! Good news about that job interview.
It's almost 24. Get these people out of my living room!!!
I don't care for strawberries, and about the same for pop-christian music; but my cousin's as close as I'm going to have to a brother, his wife's a sweetheart, and my adoration of their kidlets is well-requited :)
So I'll put up with the berries and the singin' for their sakes.
You still have 15 minutes for handing coats to guests, wishing them well, and turning on the TV.

Barney is singing along with Mother Goose right now. He's gonna get shut down in mid-refrain in a few minutes here.
They live here. Well 'cept for my mom who is visiting. I'm about ready to go in an announce that it's time to surrender the television...or find another one.
I watch ~one~ television show a week, and I ain't intendin' to miss it...
'course my grandfather used to wind his alarm clock when it was time for folks to leave.
You'll have a terrific time despite the berries and the pop singing. ;-)
