It's one day later, and, I can honestly say that parts of yesterday were awful.
Today, however, the sun is shining, I have my voice lesson to look forward to, and I'm determined to have a good day.
What's on tab for you?
Chat "soonly"
*snicker*
Just checking in.
How are all of you?
It's Thursday. I've got a bunch of work to do. MOst of it school related. I know I should be working on it, but I keep finding excuses to do everything but...
Pictures depend on his dad. I'll have to mention it again :-).
Doing okay. Vlad ate all night, so I'm pretty sleepy, but we expect that. Feeding is more important than sleep!
How's your poor kitty?
Morning, TC! I'm glad you could join us! How ya like the new "digs?" Sionnsar found us a good place (except for all the key words) so we have lots of room to grow. We'll be here for at least the next month! *snort*
How is baby Vlad?
And what is James' reaction? I bet the other kids are happy with the little guy!
Vlad's doing well - very hungry! This is good ... right now he's so small that his diapers slide off his tiny butt!
James is not interested. Once in a while he notices and says, "It's the baby!" and then takes off to find something more fun. James seems to have doubled in size since Sunday, and we got his head shaved, so he looks much older, too.
Good morning, Bob.
Good Morning, everyone.
I had a job interview today, so I've got a little more time at the moment.
I'm hoping they didn't notice that I wasn't completely on top of my game today. With some congestion, I didn't sleep well.
But I'll be all right, I don't believe in getting sick, remember?
I hope the interview went well!
I think it went well enough. It all depends on how many interviewees they had, and how I stack up against them.
They might be looking for something in someone else they didn't see in me, like enthusiasm.
I went in with a "work is work" attitude, but at least they know I'm honest.
I remember when my son was brand new. I had to cut the diapers in half so I could fold them small enough to fit his skinny butt without falling off... and he was 7 pounds.
It's strange how big our "babies" become when a new baby arrives.
I hope the kids are helping. Is your mother coming to visit?
I'll say a prayer for your interview, Bob. I'll also add a few words for your health. If you "get sick" I hope it's over by the time you start your new job.
*hugs*
I have days like that too. Stuff I have to do, but no will to do it. So what are you doing instead of doing what you're supposed to be doing?
How'd the interview go, other than you pretending not to be influenced by germs?
Glad to hear that Vlad is feeding regularly and well. Exhaustion is pretty routine at this stage of the game.
Minerva did not need to be operated on, thank goodness, although, they shaved her belly in preparation for it. The bill was quite high enough for the x-ray and the ultrasound, as it was.
I had them keep her overnight b/c they would have sent her home with the IV port and I didn't want Mcxlplx to try and play with her.
At this point, her fever is down, she's eating again, and she is home. Naturally, she has found the darkest, safest corner in which to hide. It will be days before she forgives us, I'm sure.
The vet thinks it's viral, so we just have to keep an eye on her.
And, of course, Mcxlplx is now feeling warmer than usual, so I'm eyeballing him, too.
I'm ready for a vacation....
