RANT on, my man!
What you say?
Lastest post.
Good morning! We have 15 inches of partly cloudy on the ground. Took hubby, primus, secundus, and me the better part of eight hours to shovel out the driveway.
We're going to tear through lessons this morning so the kids can play outside this afternoon.
How are all of you?
SJB - Are you in London, yet?
Good morning! 20 degrees and clear here. I'm planning for tomorrow to be a day off school; today we have Sunday School in the afternoon (the church building is too small to have it on Sunday!), so we can't plan anything else. The kids have been nagging for a trip to the library.
Did you get any snow? Just read about NYC and its 26 inches! Hoo-wee!
How are you and wee Vlad?
How's the driving today?
Are you still snowed in?
Enjoying the snow?
Good morning!
Vlad is doing great. I think I fed him all night - not sure because I was mostly asleep. He must be getting read to grow!
My husband said there was snow falling yesterday afternoon, but the temperature was over 40, so it melted immediately. They had quite a bit out to our west 100 miles or so. We're in a moderate-weather part of the state, too far inland for hurricanes to make much impact, and too far from the mountains for much winter weather. A little boring, but it has its advantages!
That's pretty much the way it is here, too. We dodge a lot of bad stuff.
Just every once in a while, though, the Nor'easters can figure out how to get to us, and then we get pounded like NYC.
That didn't happen this time though. Only seven inches. Child's play. -- Literally! My daughters cleared the driveway. They said they were "Bustin' out!"
We got 15 inches of the heavy wet stuff. Took forever to shovel out the driveway, but that's better than letting the stuff freeze overnight.
Our township has called today a snow day, so I'm going to let the kids run around with their friends, once the morning chores are finished.
That'll give me a few hours to organize and get some real work done!
How many of his clothes has Vlad outgrown so far?
Good morning, Bob.
Dare I inquire as to the results of the job interview?
Are you working today or contemplating mischief?
Job interview results unknown as yet. I may give them a call.
No work today, but some chores to do. Mischief is always an option.
Vlad has gained nearly two pounds, but his smallest clothes still fit, because he's so short. He's getting too thick for the "Newborn" size diapers, though!
I'm going to get the homeschooling log back in order and get the calendar back under control. After that, I shall reward myself by running errands and organizing my files on my computer.
Looks like we willbe having swimming (the pool's in a different township)so that's our only official school work today.
Aha! There you go. Proof positive that he's growing. (Rounder if not longer!) ;)
I always loved the weensy clothes best. It was such a shame to have to put them away so soon.
We have only two suits in the under-10-lbs size, so he wears one while the other is washed. Our supply of up-to-14 is much better; he can wear those in March and April.
James is outgrowing his diapers, too. We're trying, again, to get him to use the toilet.
Good morning. No, my attorney in London had a pacemaker put in yesterday, so I postponed the ticket until next Monday. Can't do a thing without ol Malcolm : )
Snow ping!
Morning, kids.
We don't have snow. We don't even have rain. In fact we have so little moisture that our dewpoint has been at -10 degrees, and we are already on firewatches.
