Sinuses hurt, neck hurts, stomach hurts, had an asthma attack on the way to church and had to come home, and I got the poor pitiful mes...but other than that, it's ok. It's cold but sunny, and I have an excellent pot of chili in the kitchen that I am going to get into in a few minutes...

Mmmmm! Chili! I just made a batch a few weeks ago. I love the stuff, but don't make it very often because it just makes too much. And I no longer have kids to make it disappear...

My hubby loves chili so there's never a problem with getting rid of it..I make mine a bit hotter than most people like it, but he likes it like that, and it is good for the sinuses.
I cooked up 5 lbs. of pinto beans the other day, and I have to do something to get them eaten up...Hubby loves pintos, too, but he gets tired of just beans and cornbread or beans and rice.

I usually like to make ham hocks and beans, but sometimes, it's difficult to find the hocks. Especially with any meat on them.

Yes, we have so much yellow face it's beginning to look like spring!
