Walt's cover would only be blown if Spencer was left alive and talked. If the assassin planned to take him out too... he'd look like a mole, but no connection to Walt.

CTU's gotta do something about this mole problem. Though, they do get some of their best intel by putting the screws to the moles. Maybe they do it on purpose. :-)

And why didn't Frodo and Sam just ride the eagles into Mount Doom to toss in the ring, instead of just riding them out. Hummm??

Because the eagles were very large and would have been spotted by Sauron's forces. When the eagles came to save us after the destruction of the ring, Sauron's forces were destroyed and they could pilot through the chaos. They still risked their lives to save us, but at least it wasn't a suicide mission.

Yeah that Maryland House. LOL image sitting down eating at Burger King and Judge Alito is sitting down next to you.

The Judge isn't afraid to sit down with us common folks.

OX, did you happen to see the commercial right before the "Scenes from next week's 24!"?

It was the one with the monkey's for careerbuilder.com?

HYSTERICAL!!! If you have TiVo, go to that part and watch it. Great commercial.

She was going to be told by Palmer about "something", but she wasn't told

But she's been committed before for her conspiracy theories, and isn't her psychiatrist in on things with Walt? Perhaps her previous information has been discounted as crazy talk, but it wasn't..Logan is under Walt's influence-that's for sure.

I love it when there is an opportunity to demonstrate Jack's interrogation skills....

I'm finding this romance between Jack and Audrey a bit annoying.

Just watched this via TiVo, and loved the scissors scene. Maybe we should ban those from airports?

Still waiting for SS Agent Aron to slap the poop out of the slimy chief of staff.

Sooner or later, Jack Bauer will have a prisoner who knows something and will have to say,

"This is going to be the longest day of YOUR life" as he breaks out the car battery and the electrodes.

Did it ever strike you that CTU, supposedly one of the most secure places in America, has more holes than swiss cheese? I mean, Larry the Cable Guy could walk in there and say, "I'm jes here ta fix yer cable," and they'd let him in---"Go ahead, git er done!"

Aggghhh. Once or twice was believable, but this is now becoming the weakest element in the series, that EVERY place has not only a narco/hispano-mob mole, an Arab mole, but now a Russian/Chechnian mole.

If FLOTUS wasn't groggy, she might have thought to ask her staff person who SHE told about the paper in her blouse

Keep your eye on that staffer. I'm thinking her loyalty is suspect.

How else would they fill the day if half of CTU wasn't working against the other half at any given time?

I've been wondering about Evelyn the staffer too. Walt has her scared spitless which could explain a few things. Besides the only person she can tell anything to would be Logan and she would have to be alone with him (not likely) and even then Logan is so hooked on Walt (Logan's brain I think) he probably wouldn't believe her anyway. If Logan goes back to Walt, he'll believe Walt and Evelyn is fired.
