Yeap, you see the cage but don't get to see the rat monkey (sigh).
Also some of the giant insects that attack the landing party look a great deal like the Weta- a giant prehistoric cricket sorta critter native to New Zealand. The FX company that did 'Kong', 'Narnia', and the 'LotR' films is named WETA after this same beast. Which I thought was a cute idea, having the FX company namesake attack the actors.
