Missed everything today save the last quarter of the Cots/Seahawks game. Didn't miss much. Tis the season.
Thanks for the recap.
Merry Christmas, 007!

Seahawks now hold the #1 record in the NFL this year now that they have the head to head tie breaker vs Colts. Bet the "experts" still place them in 5th place.

One would certainly hope so.

I can see Miami returning to the playoffs shortly. Advancing deep into them will take a bit longer.

Merry Christmas to you as well. :-)

These stats were written before the Giant's loss today (article written on Dec. 23, 2005). But I still thought it was interesting Eli facts to post:
(forgive the uneven chart...I can't get it to post in even rows)
Sophmore showcase

Maybe they can trade him for an offensive line.

Baltimore beat the Vikes. The G-Men clinched a playoff spot. I am not too concerned about the Skins loss. Two things to keep in mind-
1) This is not the 86 Giants. We are a year away but we have a young core of outstanding players locked up.
2) We have gone 3-1 over the last 4 weeks including Dallas at home, Philly on the road, Kansas City at home, and Washington on the road. You have to be happy with 3-1 with that schedule. That KC win was huge.
It looks like it will be either the Panthers or the Skins in our building-if we win we go on the road to Seattle-I look forward to that rematch.

LOL-nothing like a little smack talking this time of year. Isn't it great when your team makes it to the dance?
Oh yeah, one more thing-the 86 Giants were better than the 85 Bears ;-)

Oh yeah, it's been way to long for the Bear.
It's possible we might play the 'jints in the playoffs? Fourth seed..vs. 2nd seed?

I think Da Bears get a first round bye. Pray for the G-men to play you in the 2nd round. We are down to 2 LBs and are signing guys off the street. The Skins were able to Double team both Strahan and Osi because the LBs were no threat.

The Texans O line has sucked since their first pre-season game, so far they haven't done a damn thing to improe it, and I haven't seen any indications that's going to change next year. Yeah, I know. I've got season tickets and didn't miss any of the games the first two years. We were griping about that back then. I catch games only sporadically now, but I believe that there are going to be some drastic changes made in the offseason and that the offensive line will be a big focus.
Then again, I'm a very positive thinker.
