My goodness, all that for Mono?
I am so sorry.
Not all Doctors can handle that .
To: null and void
Don't worry, she will bounce back when she's better.
To: null and void

Yeah. When I had it way back when I was just very tired for a couple weeks.
She is so sick her tonsils swelled up enough to nearly block her throat. She's barely eating and not staying well hydrated.
The current strains are stronger, last year our Dr. had two patients who needed to be hospitalized.

And that was before the evil headache.

Ratboy says she doesn't look quite that bad. His comment was her eyes weren't that droopy.
OTOH, he didn't see her today, with Vicodin onboard...

Yes, complications with Mono are very severe.
To: null and void
When I had it, it was weeks...about six, if I remember correctly, and a couple more after that before I was close to normal. I was very thin at that time too. Don't recall if I lost more weight. I don't think I much cared at the time.

It is always good when the fever is high but not extreme and dangerous.

Thanks.
Remember we talk about "The Postal Service"? You ask me the name of the new band. The name is "Death Cab For Cutie"
If I'm around later to post songs at the Canteen I'll ping you for them.
To: EsmeraldaA
Yeah, I remember asking about that.
Coolbeans!
