why thank you Paula! You have great taste as well! Do you have any muscle cars at the moment? I am driving a 99 BMW 328I so I am currently without any hobby cars- my hobby car before my divorce was a 1985 BMW 325e. Totally cute, but I lost it. :-/

He doesn't race it anymore, he did in Reno. It ran in the upper 6's, low 7's, but now has a "calmer engine", and would probably run in the low 9's. She's a beautiful machine. We're trying to find the right buyer since it has a "virgin" engine. He's had it for 20 yrs? Something like that, he's been building race engines since he was a kid. New paint, new engine, and we take her around the neighborhood every now and then. Can't go too far, she's not street legal (not to mention the incredible fuel consumption), you can't get too far...LOL

If you spend the next 3 hours looking at my past posts on FR, you'll find a pic of it. It was posted on a similar thread. The pic is hosted on one of those free pic sites but now I don't remember my password to the thing.

Not at this time ...unfortunately I drive an SUV but dream of the days I can blow everyone off the road with my barracuda
I drove an old mustang as a teenager (almost killed myself in it) but it was a blast

When I was a kid, CALGON had a commercial where this woman is on her way to a big event and she gets into this limousine and pushes a button and the floor slides back to reveal a bathtub...she slips in and then the commercial moves ahead to her getting out of the limo all ready for the evening...I loved that limousine with the bathtub!

I don't know if it qualifies as a car, but those things that George Peppard and Jan Micheal Vincent drove around in "Damnation Alley" seemed interesting.
I had never seen the movie until Friday night. I could not stop watching it - easily the worst movie I have ever seen. The giant scorpions superimposed on the screem and the roaches being dragged along on a big carpet (or some such material) were nice touches.
