I had a big argument with my cousin today. He was trying to convince me that the Big Twelve was superior to the Big Ten.

Bledsoe running with the ball is a scary sight.

Just 99 yards to go for a chance......

That looked like a safety to me... their punter just saved their game chances. Still, it looks like it's going to be a long day for Dallas.

I just hope they can keep it interesting going into the second half. The Lions couldn't even manage that.

Really? Man it isn't even really close this year. Tell your cousin to match up the #7 team in the Big Ten (Minnesota) with the #7 team in the Big XII (Your pick of Texas A&M, Nebraska or Mizzou) and ask him how he thinks that will play out. Since none of the 3 can stop the run, it would be over relatively quickly.

He was basing it simply on the Texas-Ohio St. game.

I turned on the Dallas game for dinner. I can't even watch it, what with the challenge reviews.

It's starting to ruin college games too. It smacks of Al Gore politics; do-overs until you get the result you want.

oh you mean the game where OSU outplayed Texas but couldn't put the game away and a great player for Texas pulled the game out of the fire for them?

I would have said something like, you know, if you are going to base an argument for an entire conference on one game, you probably haven't watched enough of the other teams to support it.

You don't GET a do-over. Where did you come up with that? You have your participants lined up incorrectly for that to be true.

I told him that Texas wouldn't want to play them today.

no they wouldn't.

OSU is getting great performance from their QBs now, something completely missing from the Texas game. That was the difference then, and it would be the great equalizer now.
