Saxby Chambliss: did not serve. "Bad knee." The man who attacked Max Cleland's patriotism.

You're a fricking troll because everyone and their momma knows that Chambliss did not "attack" Cleland's patriotism.

George W. Bush: failed to complete his six-year National Guard; got assigned to Alabama so he could campaign for family friend running for U.S. Senate; failed to show up for required medical exam, disappeared from duty.

Another B.S. lie that was already debunked ad nauseaum here on FR last year.

My point is that there is no honor in being forced to serve. Today's army is all volunteer and mostly republicans from red states. I don't care who did what 40 years ago.

The liberals were against the war in Vietnam so they should applaud people who avoided serving like Bill, I loath the military Clinton.

By that token they should applaud Newt Gingrich, Dick Cheney, Dennis Hastert, Tom DeLay, and all the other Republicans who avoided serving, too.

And the GOP should embrace Bill Clinton for the same reason?

I love Bill Clinton. He has done more for conservative causes than any president other than Reagan.

Thanks to Bill, the Democrats lost the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. We got NAFTA, Welfare reform, no open gays in the military, no Haitian immigration. He is also our most entertaining expresident. He will be buckets of laughs when Hillary runs.

John Wayne is still alive? Who Knew?

He's on the list under "pundits and preachers"

And if they're going to count Dead repulicans as well as Pundits and preachers to inflate the list so can we.

Teddy Roosevelt served
Ulyesses Grant served
Barry Goldwater served
Jimmy Stewart served
