"Phil Keaggy"
I've seen him in concert a few times. Oh I wish I could play like him.

Met Jimmy Tingle at a party. He's arrogant.

oooh yeah.. Keaggy is one of the great guitarists...he actually played lead guitar with Chuck Girard and LoveSong on tour in 1976, which is when I got his autograph.

My wife has never seen "A Christmas Story". I thought almost everybody has seen it. Sort of like "The Wizard of Oz".
I bought the DVD and we're going to watch it when I head south for Thanksgiving.

She will love it! I laughed myself silly, and I was - let's see - 28 at the time. Now we watch it every Thanksgiving and Christmas.

A Christmas Story has become a tradition in our family, right up there with It's A Wonderful Life/

Which one are you? I could swear I went to Catholic grade school with the guy on the right (Pres. Reagan's left)

I take it Ninfa's isn't a vegetarian restaraunt. ;o)That would be a hoot to see Nugent in a vegetarian place, wouldn't it? No, it's a TexMex chain in Texas. His wife, Shemayne (not sure if I spelled that right) is very beautiful in person.

You know Ninfa's too. Sometimes I forget not everybody has access to the same great food we have -- we're truly blessed ; )

I'm a Houston girl born and bred! The original Ninfa's (on Navigation) is spittin' distance from my office, not to mention the one downstairs in the tunnel below my building, and there's one on Westheimer near Wilcrest, just around the corner from Casa de Xena.

YOU are the perfect person to appreciate this.
I saw TOM SELLECK one time on a beach in California.
Holy crap, he is everything you would think. I froze. And stared. And swooned.
And missed my chance of becoming Mrs. Tom Selleck.

I've been to the original Ninfa's years ago. Ninfa's in Waco took an old warehouse building downtown and renovated it -- very nice. Ninfa's has great food, but when I want down and dirty TexMex I usually choose one of the locally owned dives.

The guy's name was Fred (sorry, don't remember his last name) and was living in Illinois when we met.

"It's a Wonderful Life" is about to become a tradition in the 'Lyte family, since my new hubby is a dead ringer for a young Jimmy Stewart. Roawr!
However, I did discover, a couple weeks back during a viewing of "The Day the Earth Stood Still," that Xena's Guy, if properly outfitted in silver jumpsuit, could totally pass for Michael Rennie. And that's not at ALL a bad thing. ;)

I really hate to admit to this but we're among friends, Right?
In the mid 70's
I shook hands with Walter "Fritz" Mondale when he was running for vice president. I was in the USN, and had just gotten back from lunch when we were told to line up outside to meet a "VIP". He walked down the line asking quiet questions and shaking hands with each of us. When he got to me, he asked if I had "gotten enough to eat?"Of course I smiled real big, shook my head yes, and went to shake his hand,he pulled his hand away before I could get a grip-Felt like grabbing a fish! Of course that night on the nightly news, there I was shaking his hand and looking very happy to meet him! what a jerk! My first lesson with the MSM and smarmy politcos.
