Who do you think Bush will nominate, now that Miers was removed her nomination?
The original tv show really sucked, it's not even worth anyone's time to watch this, those are hours we can get back, when we could be doing something more worth while like watching paint dry. Any episode of the current Smallville on WB is far better than this old tv show and the Reeves movies combined.
You got a problem with good memories and nostalgia?
Now, about the DVD set... it's about time. This was a great moment of many children's lives. This is Superman. In my view anyway. I never took to Chris Reeve. Too effeminate as Supes and too bumbling as Kent.
Someone else mentioned Smallville? Give me a break.
Very informative bit about this DVD set. Thanks for posting.
But nobody could take a bullet to the chest with a digusted facial expression like George! :-)
Isn't that the Superman who would duck when you threw the revolver at him after bouncing six bullets off his chest?
Dats him! :-)
Classic stuff, second only to the Fleischer animated version IMHO. God rest George Reeves' soul.
Yep! That's her, Phyllis Coates. She was just as sharp tongued in Panther Girl as she was as LL.
Isn;t that the 'other' Superman with her? Do you know his name?
Perry was one cool old guy!! 'Great Caesars Ghost' was his best episode!
Good catch. Oh, had to invite a couple friends over.
ELAINE
Bizarro Jerry?
JERRY
Yeah. Like Bizarro Superman. Superman's exact opposite, who lives in the backwards bizarro world. Up is Down. Down is Up. He says "Hello" when he leaves, "Good bye" when he arrives.
ELAINE
[pause] Shouldn't he say "Bad bye"? Isn't that the, opposite of "Good bye"?
JERRY
No. It's still a good-bye.
ELAINE
Uh. Does he live underwater?
JERRY
No.
ELAINE
Is he black..
JERRY
Look. Just, forget it, all right?
