I can get confused like that, worse actually - it has happenned, I think something that I believe is the right and logical thought, and then discover (often too late) that's it's the opposite of that - some small thing I'm thinking, it is just a blind spot or perhaps a temporary reversal of logic.
Whether the glass is half empty or half full depends on whether it is being emptied, or filled.
Some would say the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
If I am waiting to drink, the glass is half filled. If I have left off with waiting, then the glass may well be half empty, and on its way to being completely empty.
Don't forget about moderation in moderation! See you tomorrow, or I'll catch up with you there.
Of course!! Moderation in moderation!! Also moderation in moderation in moderation is very good!!!!
Goodnight Bob!!
I'd think about that, but I'm afraid I'd get a headache!
I'm also afraid I wouldn't get a headache... sorry would.
Going to bed now ... try to avoid headaches!
I'm off to bed too - Goodnight Tax!!
It looks like a lot of people went to bed. Anyone still around?
I'm here! Foggy morning, mid-40's - I'm glad I don't have to drive anywhere until afternoon!
Good Morning, T-C!
I'll be busy this morning, but I'll be around later.
(Any morning that allows me to open my eyes I consider to be a good start!)
Have a nice day!
Hi Tax-chick. We won't be leaving until this afternoon, so I'm free to chat with the denizens of the castle.
How are you this fine morning?
I thought I'd put the two of you in touch this morning, seeing as you are both having dental problems. You can wax eloquent about novacaine and drills and such.....
I'll have you know I had no cavities today, thank you.
I told them it was because of my diet, which includes healthful things like beer.
Pretty good. Two diaper disasters so far this morning, and it's not lunchtime yet ... but we've survived. First U.S. Mail day of Advent, and I have a dozen Christmas cards in the box to go out already. Maybe I'll finish a couple more this afternoon, when I've got my lesson plan ready for Rel. Ed.
50's and drizzle here.
How are you - all set for your drive with the vowelless cat?
Good boy!
Do you drink the beer, brush your teeth with it, or swish out with it?
I'm so glad to be diaper free. The laundry, on the other hand, is still an unspeakable ordeal. Everytime I thought I'd mastered laundry, I'd go and have another child and realize the depth of my ignorance.
I have to buy more school books this afternoon, before we leave. I've revamped all four curricula in order to ease up the schedule, so I have to get a few different books for Secundus, and get the rest of the "planned for books" for Primus and Tertius.
The vowel-less one is out of quarantine and is in everyone's lap. He adores his kitty bed and his bell ball toy.
It's threatening to drizzle here, and Prout reports that the temps are supposed to drop by the end of the week. Ick!
It's so much fun buying new school books! We're having a "Math Blitz" year, so all I've bought is math workbooks. Other subjects are being done with the books that they didn't finish last year. Hopefully we can have some new Humanities for next fall.
I have the laundry under control (all day, every day ...), but if we don't do something about Patrick soon, I'm going to have three boys in diapers by February, and I'll have to run away from home with the baby and the credit cards.
Glad to know Kitty is flourishing - I hope the trip is relatively painless.
Those latter procedures sound very disrespectful to the amber nectar. Are you sure you're related to Prout?
Most of the new texts are for Primus, and will be handed down to the siblings as they come up through the ranks. The only difficult part lies in finding some of the books for assigned reading. Many of them are no longer in print and our library stinks in terms of good literature for children. Thank goodness for online purveyors of used books!
How old are the current diapered ones? Are either/both approaching potty-training age?
