Having said that, as a non-US citizen, you have NO RIGHT at all to ever set foot on our soil. Get over it.

Come on, clee1...be kind.

Hi
1 It is important how the world sees the EEUU.
2 I am already in England and just wanted to go to the USA because it was part of the flight...
3 I am not desperate to ever be over the US again ... I have already been there ... and it may not be for me

Reasons:
1.1 if the world thinks that the US is abusive.. this can cause some demonstrations ... the kind that we already know, isn't it ?
And , as I had some friends and exboyfriends from the US, they are nice and good people but they are not so impartial when they think of their own security ...the invation to Irak is a good example... and the other 20 invations... (or more Dr Right wing ?)
1.2 I am a lawyer ... of the left wing I have to say... because isnt the left wing alike to the morality of the Bible ? I mean that to be a good person you have to feel sad when you see suffering, poor people, and violence.. and if I have to be of the left wing to be try to find justice... that is exactly what I am....
1.3 I wonder how many people of Irak have died since the invation ... isn't this abusive ?? Yes, the US so often is abusive ...
2. I am here in England but I am not so happy because I miss my family.... the latin americans are very close to their families... so I am almost desperate to return to my country... which I love
Besides I dont want to work in a country in Mc Donalds ... I am lawyer and I have some brain, I dont want to have this jobs... Is not my objective in life... I am lucky to say that I not need that.
3. I really dont have any intention to return there... but I wanted to write my experience so somebody would avoid to have my experience...so people would know...
4. Someboy here said the US is woried because Chavez is investing money to make political changes in Bolivia....
well: YOU ARE WRONG! because I can swear that nobody is paying me to think the way I do.... maybe you would understand Bolivia if you would live there... even that we export gas ..we cant buy in La Paz (where the government is) a bottle of gas to cook... and our presidents always do things against my country.... lets say: social security that we cant pay without selling the actions of our "privatized" industries, laws that benefit the criminals, laws that dont protect the contract of rents, a educational system that discourage people (indigenous)to
stay in their communites and not be part of the cities and society.... tell me what would you do ? Maybe you would "pay" your conscience fighting to have a job in the government... or maybe you would like to fight against the system .... those are the choices... accept the reality that is damaging you and your family or try to change it .. or be part of the small but very comfortable group that is enjoying all the suffering there ?

I am (sometimes) an intelligent woman that always searchs the net when I need to know something... so I just wanted to help the naiv ones like me

I dont have any interest in your country. I just wanted to take that flight. I am already in the UK. And that is it for me about your country...
My only concern of your country is the damage it causes in other countries, the world pollution is a good example, the invations to different countries is another (to improve the country's economy), or the "influence" the goverment has in some other ones... and the lack of impartiality of their citizens because they dont realize the damage that your country is doing to some others..... I mean people like you... isnt it ?

I think you are also a victim of the system , but you still dont realize it... one day you will or maybe you already lost your dreams ? maybe you dont believe in justice.... and as a lawyer, if I would have to choose between the law and I WOULD CHOOSE JUSTICE! That makes me a human...
You dont need to have the same limits as me, for example you dont need a visa to travel to Europe , I guess, but for example the "freedom" of news in your country limits a lot what you read and believe ... this is your KNOWLEDGE .... or the violence in the steets.. the guns that are allowed and the crimmes is also a problem that you know , isnt it ? etc etc
Dont make me believe that your system works... it doesnt...
and I remember that after sept/11 CNN put all the days and nights (for 2months ?)"news" of the damage, of the effects, etc of the attacks... and I mean all the days... was this to create the ambient needed to be able to attack Irak ? to make the people afraid ... to make them support him in his plans ???
Because, as you might know, Irak didnt have massive destructions weapons... this country has petroleum and this
is the sin of this country... and also is a bad luck that your president is an associate of petroleum companies and have personal links wiht families related with this attacks...
So you might be a victim... or part of the mechanism , isnt it ?

FRiend, we Americans are concerned with America; not your opinions or your problems in your home country.

I'm happy you made it to your destination, but in reality, I really couldn't care less about your problems or your America-bashing opinions.

It works for us here... and that is all I consider important.

<>I think you are also a victim of the system , but you still dont realize it... one day you will or maybe you already lost your dreams ? maybe you dont believe in justice.... and as a lawyer, if I would have to choose between the law and I WOULD CHOOSE JUSTICE! That makes me a

If you are leftist, you have no idea what justice means. Justice does not mean redistribution; justice is simply the role of the government to enforce the law and contracts. Freedom is what's paramount; justice is merely the efficient operation of the legal system.

Where I live, there are more guns than people, and the crime rate is lower than practically anywhere in Europe. I own a gun; I've never had to point it at another human being. There's an old saying; if you love peace, prepare for war. I would likewise add, if you hate violence, own a gun.

I remember that after sept/11 CNN put all the days and nights (for 2months ?)"news" of the damage, of the effects, etc of the attacks... and I mean all the days... was this to create the ambient needed to be able to attack Irak ? to make the people afraid ... to make them support him in his plans ???

9-11 killed nearly 3000 of our people. CNN is not particularly conservative or pro-American; by simply reporting the facts, they showed us the danger we were in, from Islam, but also from the leftist apologists for Islam. Our country is not obliged to put itself in danger to accomodate the sensibilities of Latin American leftists, who are in large part responsible for the turmoil and poverty that grips your continent.

Because, as you might know, Irak didnt have massive destructions weapons... this country has petroleum and this is the sin of this country... and also is a bad luck that your president is an associate of petroleum companies and have personal links wiht families related with this attacks... So you might be a victim... or part of the mechanism , isnt it ?

If we fought the war for oil, I assure you gas would not have been over $3 a gallon last month.

1.1 if the world thinks that the US is abusive.. this can cause some demonstrations ... the kind that we already know, isn't it ?

The primary reason for antipathy towards the US is jealousy. The secondary reason is agitation by power-hungry leftists, who resent a country where the state has a limited role and the popular consensus is people should be let alone to take care of themselves.

I am a lawyer ... of the left wing I have to say... because isnt the left wing alike to the morality of the Bible ? I mean that to be a good person you have to feel sad when you see suffering, poor people, and violence.. and if I have to be of the left wing to be try to find justice... that is exactly what I am....

I am an atheist, so I find appeals to the Bible unpersuasive. See my other post for my idea of what justice is and is not.

I wonder how many people of Irak have died since the invation ... isn't this abusive ?? Yes, the US so often is abusive ...

I wonder how many people in Iraq died before the invasion. I don't wonder how many Castro has killed; the Black Book of Communism came up with a figure of 17,000. Iraq is now a democratic country, with a democratic constitution approved by 77% of Iraqis. Its major problem is an anti-democratic terrorist movement. But you on your ilk focus on attacking the country which brought democracy to Iraq, and giving succor to the violent brutes who are killing Iraqis. What a hypocrite!
