Out of the last 175 years less than 25 of those years were under republican governorships. Rush is pretty much right in his statement.

The previous governor before Blanco was a Republican. Can you imagine if the current governor and mayor were both Republicans? The MSM would have had a trifecta, along with President Bush, and believe you me the governor and mayor would not be getting a pass like they are now.

Rush stayed so cool during that call when you know he wanted to jump thru the line and strangle that caller! I don't think Rush wanted to strangle him at all, I think he was genuinely sad for the guy.
