D-Rays take the lead in the 9th!

Correction, the Cards are the best team in the NL. We'll have to wait until October to see who the best team in Baseball is.

You can't stop David Ortiz. You can only hope to contain him. He's a freakin' MONSTAH!

Why oh why wasn't Mr. Bellhorn playing at second base?
I thought they got him for his defense?
Now they'll probably pinch-hit him.

And it happened on a night that RJ pitched. Those are heart breakers for a team and with Mussina out it doubles the sour taste.
Small and Chacon have done okay by them though...

YES! Yankees lose 4-3... we're up by 4!
Wow, Mariano got the loss... TB has beaten the Yanks 10 out of 14!

I've heard whispers that Wright won't miss a start, but he'll be back anyway and Wang is back. leiter will be moved out of the rotation, I guess.

That was an intangible DP for Jeter. 7th BS for Flash, and Mo is 6-4, and Big Useless stuck at 13 wins. John Kruk said he'd get 30...

R.I.P. 2005 N.Y. MetsAwww... sorry about the Metsies, Ken. We're always rooting for them, too (just wish we could see them on TV).

It will be interesting to see who can hold it together down the stretch. The sox have a killer schedule this month.

Red Sox Magic Number: 22!
Me too; it's always fun to check in with fellow baseball faithful.
Pappi RULES!
Back in June, the O's were in Boston and I was driving home from work listening to the game on radio. It was bottom of the 9th, two outs and the game was tied. BJ Ryan threw three stright fastball to Pappi.
Pitch #1. Pappi swings and misses
Pitch #2. Foul
Pitch #3. Lansdown street!

We have 2 games against the Angels and 3 against the As who have a feeble offense. Other than that, our schedule is the same as the Yanks, basicly. We play our games mostly in Fenway, too, but the Yanks have one more series away. And Wake is starting one of the 3 this weekend and he is nails in Yankee Stadium as a starter.
