She was in hysterics for a good 5 minutes, shaking her fist, unable to understand why there are those that have yet to be rescued. Of the looters, she dismissed any of those that took jeans and tv's as being poor, and that a blind eye should be turned because this was the only time in their lives that they had a chance to touch such things. I had the impression that she attributed the "loud gunfire" heard in NO to law enforcement and not looters/ Celine is absolutely right....they aren't looters, just "Freedom Fighters" that are misunderstood. I think we should all pitch in to buy them tickets to her next concert and arrange a meet and greet with her. This would be a once in a lifetime opportunity for these people.

I only watched this to see Eric Clapton. I didn't care much for Celine Dijon, now I could care even less about her. Hey Celine, why don't you go back to socialist Canada or even better, France.

By the way.....my dog Lola would prefer not using references to animals when denigrating someone. She prefers terms like, monster or scumbag or moron. (Lola is always checking out FR when I am away from the computer.)

We are apparently in agreement Celine but even we hadn't thought of bombing this Sh** hole and it seems kind of pointless now but we'll keep your idea in the hopper it may be useful later.

Not only that, but she also dismissed the actions by saying that they probably didn't even take the loot very far away. So if my next door neighbor breaks into my home, steals my TV, and puts it in his den, that's not as bad as someone doing it that lives a mile away?
I wonder what she would think if a mob broke into her home and took what they wanted. Would she excuse it by saying that it was understandable, because they finally had the opportunity to touch such things for the first time in their lives?
I agree. I don't own any of her CD's but I've always enjoyed her singing. She has a beautiful voice. And I don't think she's ugly either.
I definitely won't be buying her CD's now. She is like the rest of the sheep in the entertainment industry. She can't get the facts and then form an opinion of her own. Sad.
