Here is a pic of one from this company
Scootercompany. They sell them cheaper than honda, but don't know if the quality is as good. This one is a 125 CC for 1395 plus 129.00 shipping from florida(I think florida):)

Dude, way too gay. Buck up and fill the Suburban. You only live once.
To: GRRRRR
Get one. I think it's smart. In the meantime, I'm trying to figure out how to put an 8-cylinder in this wheelchair. I need some horsepower, people!

I'd get one if I didn't live so far from town and if it never snowed here in Michigan.

Tank! You're my hero!! Mrs says that one "looks" cool, I'm a big guy and she didn't want me looking totally like a dorko on a little one where you put your feet in the middle...LOL!!
I dunno, I've seen cycle accidents and they aren't pretty..but my route to work has only ONE busy two lane road, the rest of the 7 mile ride is all city streets...
Maybe the GMC Envoy is the best choice, I don't think I can carry my golf clubs on the back?
Hmmmm, wonder if RV's are going cheap these days???
Hugs to ALL!

I have a Hyosung Sense, which is fun for tootling around the neighborhood but would only consider EVER taking it on the streets under emergency situation. (like critical gas shortage or other economic disaster) Hyosung come in a range of prices and mine was only about $1200/$1400 brand new. (it was a gift) Took a while to get used to how it does NOT handle like a motorcycle. If more people rode them, I wouldn't feel so vunerable on one in traffic. For now, it's there for fun or emergency. America is not ready for curb to curb scooter riders (like Europe and Japan). Too bad...mine gets incredible mileage.

The Buell Blast looked good so I looked it up on google - I've never seen so many NEGATIVE comments on any bike before!
Google search before you buy.
I no longer ride bikes due to medical

(You gotta be passionate about something. I guess.)

From the photos you posted, I like the styling of the Yamaha Majesty better.
It seems to me you could get a lot more bike for the same money though if you went for a motorcycle instead of a scooter. I don't think the gas savings difference would be that great.
I find tiny wheels to be a little scary.
To: GRRRRR
I was hit by car when riding a scooter many years ago. You could not pay me enough to ride another one in traffic.
I want some steel around me.
But, it is your choice, not mine.

That's why I asked the smartest peoples in the world!
I am terribly aware of the cycle accident issue.
When I'm driving, I always let the cyclists know I see them and give them extra space.
On the other hand, there are always the hot shot rice-burners that insist on weaving in and out of traffic at 100+mph...and they sneak up on you...
Ohhhh...decisions, decisions!

"she didn't want me looking totally like a dorko on a little one "Well then get her one too and then she can't point at you and laugh!
Mr Two grew up on motorcycles and he LOVES taking the scooter out (and beating it up! X-motocross maniac). He doesn't care what it looks like or what he looks like driving it. It's mine and its that yellow color and once or twice I've had to hide the keys to it!

The only problem with scooters is their name. If the bike companies would ditch the sissified "scooter" name and rebrand these things as urban motorcycles, economy bikes, or something like that, they could probably kill the stigma and increase their sales quite a bit.
Personally, I only live a few miles from the office and am planning on dusting off my bicycle tomorrow. I need the exercise anyway :)
