Thanks - I hadn't read this article.
I've had 4 babies without any pain meds. But gall bladder attacks when I was 23, and major surgery caused pain that made me want to die... same goes with kidney stone attacks years later. But with strong painkillers, I am able to function (meaning catch up on lost sleep) and get better.
It hurts just to type about it.....
