You beat me to it.........I thought for sure he was changing to Do-Wah-Diddy.

Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Diddy, Didd.....,and eventual he will be Prince with only a symbol. The ego of some in the entertainment industry would weigh as much as a teaspoon of collapsed star material, and fill Giant Stadium on Sunday Morning.

But people around the world didn't know what to call me. I knew what to call him, and it wasn't Diddy.

I can't believe I'm on this thread. Since I'm here there is something I'd like to ask of these rappers, why is it you change your names to these bizzare monickers? Are you THAT insecure with yourselves? Sooner or later, one of them are going to use their real name and that will be unusual.

"He told MTV News, "It's five letters, one word. The name is changed. We made it simpler. We removed the P. The P was getting in between us. We're entering the age of Diddy."
Hey Sean, Puff Daddy was an okay nickname. All the subsequent changes have sounded stupider and stupider.
Sincerely,
A Non-Fan

I would suggest shortening "Diddy" even more ...
Just call him "Duh!!!"

They can't use their REAL names. Their parole officer will find them.

Maybe if he keeps shortening his name, he will disappear altogether. (one could only hope)
